We will be gathering petitions at this meeting so that they can be presented to the city council on Thursday, March 21st. Please bring all the petitions you have collected. Also, discussion of the Development Agreement released on March 14. The outreach subcommittee will  meet at 5:45 (also at the Esperanza Center).

David Lake will speak for the SGC on the development agreement, focusing on conflicts with the Master Plan. Other and affiliated groups: please send a statement/speaker and alert members to attend. Bring signs and other visual aids.

Get Out the Vote Rally

Martin Luther King Plaza at Houston and New Braunfels

The event is sponsored by the NAACP, Neighborhoods First Alliance and others. Aside from showing support for this effort, it is an opportunity to collect signatures for our anti-PGA petition.

AGENDA: Unite communities/groups against the PGA Village.
Watch the premiere of Voices of Wisdom/ Voces de Sabiduria, a special production by Esperanza Ctr. presenting voices from the community speaking out against PGA at 5:30PM. Also, enjoy youth street theater depicting the issues surrounding the PGA proposal.
